RE: Gardening in drought conditions

Yucca seems to be the clear ‘designated driver’ of all plants – I don’t
think it drinks at all – it’s totally dry!

I have a lovely yucca that I've moved twice successfully, but whatever 
scraps remain restart each time. It is in the shade of an oak tree and 
strangled by a thick mat of Vinca major, both of which suck up whatever
rain 
falls there. Great plant!
