Re: Pollenation, pollenization


Nan,

  Pollenizer is a correct term for a plant that is used to cross-pollinate
another. This is most common with numerous sweet cherries and almonds, and
then too with a limited number of self-unfruitful cultivars of apple, plum,
peach, and even a few apricots.
    Hope your flu leaves quickly. Drink lots of water.
