RE: Paragraph Marks

Jeff, do you know how to do a universal replace?  That will solve your problem.

Here's how:

Highlight the entire paragraph except for the final paragraph mark.

Go to the Edit menu and choose Replace.  You'll get the find and 
replace pop up window.

In the window, click the More button to access the maximum find and 
replace options

Place your cursor in the upper field of the replace window, click the 
button that says Special and choose Paragraph Mark from teh pop up 
menu.  This will put  "^p" into that field.

Place your cursor in the lower field of the window and hit the 
spacebar one time.  What you've done it told the computer to replace 
every paragraph mark in that highlighted paragraph with a single 
space.

Once you are ready, click the button that says "replace all" and it 
will be done.

When you get the pop up window that asks if you want to continue the 
search and replace, don't do it or your entire document will be a 
single paragraph!
