Re: PC to MAC Conversion


Some problems can occur even on the same platform when the same version of
Word is not available on both machines. A more recent version can convert a
file prepared in an older version, but the person using the newer version
must be careful to use the Save Option to save in the older format.

If the file is being transported between computers by a floppy (1.3 MB) or
ZIP Drive disk, the Windows user may not have a disk drive that will read a
Mac formatted disk. Mac users should have software (DOS mounter) that allows
the PC formatted disk to be displayed on the desktop.
