Re: San Francisco Flower and Garden Show
To all my gardenwriter friends,
Last week I spoke at the San Francisco Flower and Garden Show, held at
the Cow Palace. I was told by some that it isn't as good as it used to be,
since it is now held inside. However, it was raining, pouring, when I talked
and I was appreciative of the cover.
I thought that it was a terrific show. I had a great crowd, they bought
lots of books, and the show itself was fabulous. Lots and lots of vendors
selling all manner of fun and unusual plants, many top notch, interesting
and classy display gardens--all in all an excellent, huge flower and garden
show. Well worth seeing or speaking at.
