Jeff,
You are not the only prophet.  Several of us on this list, including Lon
Rombough and me, have been using, experimenting with and writing about soil
microbes--especially mycorrhizal fungi--for years.  It's good to hear that
you predict we will be trend setters.  Gee, we have been doing this stuff
for years and fighting difficult battles to get editors let us include soil
biology in our articles.  Hopefully, all my experimenting, studies and data
collection will finally pay off.  BTW, if anyone is interested, go to the
www.crfg.org site and type in Mycorrhizae or Mycorrhizal Fungi into their
search engine.  You'll come up with a study I did with heirloom tomatoes.
