plant combinations
Chicagoland Gardening Magazine would like to run a story on plant
combinations using purple (or "black")-leaved plants, and I was
wondering if any of you had thoughts on the subject. If you've put
together some combinations that you thought were particularly
brilliant, I'd be ever so grateful if you'd pass them on. I'm thinking
about plants like the black elephant ears on the cover of the Park Seed
catalog I just received, the dark-leaved Cimicifuga ramosa, smoke bush,
various coral bells, purple basil, bronze fennel, etc.
Thank you, thank you. Carolyn Ulrich
