Regarding the copy question, I've sent duplicate copies (I usually get more than one tear sheet from the publisher) until I run down to the one or two I want to keep on hand. Other alternatives to color copies are: 1) scan the article/photos into your computer and email, if acceptable, or 2) scan the article/photos into your computer and print color or grayscale copies on your printer rather than using a color photocopier--it's usually a cheaper bet.
