I don't recall seeing the request from Lon Rombough about
newspaper garden sections, so------
I write the twice monthly gardening section for Robinson
Newspapers in the suburban south Seattle (WA) area: West Seattle
Herald/White Center News, Highline Times/Des Moines News, and Federal Way
News.
My credentials include winning the Pacific Gardens Contest in
1997 with a First Prize trip to the Chelsea Flower Show in London. I also
Founded the annual Burien Garden Tour in my community; Founded the Highline
Botanical Garden in SeaTac, WA www.highlinegarden.org; and serve as a
city councilmember in Burien. Currently, I'm trying to rescue a culturally
historic Japanese Garden recently purchased for expansion of the Sea-Tac
Airport.
