Re: Digital Cameras

Lina,

I have had a Nikon Coolpix 5000 (5.25 megapixels) for about a year and I am very happy with it. You can blow up photos to 16" x 20". Nikon has a Coolpix 5700 with the same megapixels but a few more bells and whistles and a friend of mine has that one and is very happy with it. There are new cameras coming out in the next few months that are over 6 megapixels by all the major manufacturers. I use my Nikon for color photos in my magazine, Growing Edge, which by the way is surviving in these tough times (re: the recent thread on garden magazines and their demise.) We have a full time staff of 4 people and put out a high quality, or so I am told, full color magazine. I should give high priced workshops to the big magazine players to downsize their large staffs and maybe they could survive. We have been at it for 14 years.

Best regards,
