Re: Gardening Related Lists
To Gene's list, I will add:
Peonies
Rhododendrons
Azaleas
Hellebores
Cyclamen
Variegated
Hooked on Grasses (ornamental grasses)
Acid Lovers (as in plants - not the drugs:-))
Bulbous Aroids
(the above are all Yahoo lists)
Aroid-L
Perennials
Woody Plants
Propagation
Carnivorous Plants
Fernet
IGS Robin (geraniums & pelargoniums)
There is also a Lily list or two out there; I was on one for years,
but when it moved I didn't go with it, as well as Medit-L (for
Mediterranean climates), I think a hosta list or two and there used
to be an iris list I was on for a time - not the species one Gene is
on; iris in general. There is also a list devoted to pumpkins -
archives are on hort.net. Chris Lindsey hosts perennials, woody
plants and propagation on hort.net...think there's also a prairie
plant list - and hort.net hosts archives for quite a few others as
well as this list...check out the archives..http://www.hort.net/ -
look in the left nav column for the link to mailing lists. Fernet is
also now hosted on hort.net. I am sure there are others out there;
there's a list devoted to just about ever genus of plant and every
topic you can imagine. Some are very active and some are not.
