RE: Looking for...a New Thread

Ya know....

juliebawdendavis.com  should thank everyone...publicly, as I think just about everyone on the list has reponded...and then send an email with that full listing of all these Native Plant Sources to the rest of the list...for convenient, one-stop shopping!!

I guess this is why Lon had trhought to raise the issue of appropriate topics/list focus...and not to raise that "red flag" again, as everyone who wanted to has already weighed in on that topic...but I'm looking for a new thread...

I think , despite the overwhelming number of books on my bookshelf, that we all need/could survive in our own gardens with just 4 books...ohh, I just realized how audacious that sounds, as we are all in the biz of writing yet another...but then IF you just had that as an option, I guess I see the catagories as Historical (either an overview of gardening thru the ages or an older tome), Personal ( the creation of or reaction to the idea of nature/gardens), Picture Book (not necessarily a folio, but certainly coffee table size), and finally Encyclopedic (as in all I ever really needed to know right now)...

anyone....recomendations!??

I'm in need of various native plant sources.  I'm doing a quarterly column for a national magazine--so I need sources throughout the U.S.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
