I joined this list ( thanks Donna) in order to learn about the trade of garden writing. I have not been disappointed. I think this is a rather nice group of folks most of the time and if the impression is that this is a garden tea party, Michael I have to tell you, my cuppas have occasionally been  served with cream and a few lumps.
I think it's too bad you've decided to leave.

I have read all your messages notes.  It's looking more like a garden tea party.  I have tried to send messages to voice an opinion, but never see them posted.  I joined this gathering in hopes to gain some sort of insight in publishing gardening literature.  All the topics that were posted during the last few months could have been read in trade magazines, if you sat down and read them.  I don't have the time to read the same thing all the time. 
My best advice to you'll is look over your garden fence and see what others outside 'this field of study' are doing.
