RE: Audience/Craving for info

We've heard in this thread that there is a lack of "meaty articles" being
published, and that gardeners are eager to attend lectures on subjects where
there is a perception of a lack of information on a topic.

I say that there are good articles (and books) with solid information being
published but that many people do not know how to find them. What is needed is
a good index to find these, and, guess what, one is coming.

Garden Literature Index will index and abstract more than 400 serial titles
dealing with horticulture, design, botany, conservation, ecology, art, history,
etc.

It will be online and sold to libraries, institutions, corporate bodies, and
consortia.

It is being developed by EBSCO Publishing which has purchased my database and
hired me as Editor to expand and improve it. A summer release is planned.

Rest assured, I will post details when they become available.
