In retrospect I think several of you were correct in pointing out how worried I might be to think of George Rasmussen's opinion of the article.
That's always my concern. I find myself connecting so strongly with the people I write about that I worry about how they will feel when they read the article. In the year's I've been writing, no one has ever been upset and nearly every article brings a phone call or a note or an email thanking me for the wonderful way I described the person and/or his or her garden.
I still worry about it, though....
