Re: inorganic vs organic arsenic

Nobody ever told me that sense & education went together hand in hand. If an
aboriginal human were suddenly deposited in a train yard and touched the
third rail would they be labeled as "sense-less"? Who is at fault if a young
man isn't educated about the risks in using CCA lumber?
Amazed? I'm still trying to figure out the answer to a previous query of how
many mothers actually watch their children today. My guess would be the same
percentage as through out the course of human history. A history that
recounts a wealthy/titled class with servants to watch children. A history
that recounts the labor intensive lifestyles of those without servants,
where watching children was often relegated to slightly older offspring.
Then there's the public hysteria comments. As one watches their parents,
neighbors and friends die of cancer I have to wonder at what point my
"awareness" might be labeled "hysteria". When products are reported to
possibly cause cancer should I wait a dozen years for a governmental report?
Do I gamble my children's lives besides my own? By removing CCA lumber,
filtering our ground water, using deodorants instead of antiperspirants,
using less dryer sheets and hanging laundry out to dry, standing away from a
working microwave and keeping an organic garden, am I depriving my our lives
of some necessary ingredient? LOL hysterically.
I think it's time to shake hands and agree to disagree.
