Re: Tropical Trends

You may be thinking of the exhibit created by the North American Rock Garden Society, Delaware Valley Chapter, which featured many native plants of the eastern and western USA, including Lewisia and Clarkia.

It was made by volunteers and was called "Gardening Along a Rocky Path."

Here's a picture online.

Delphiniums, snaps, primroses and bulbs are ALWAYS present at the PFS because they can be forced reliably. They've been there through all the tropical heat waves.
My favorite little vignette was the display -- and I forget whose it was -- that featured both Lewisia and Clarkia.
