Re: Jeff Ball Returns To Real World

I'm sorry - who exactly are you and why in blue blazes would you go around
casting pods (dare I assume pea-pods?) over the place and then tell us where
they are?

D

p.s. while I really like Nancy (much better than you anyway - whoever you
are - she once told me she liked one of my books) - I'm curious about how
she "mans" a booth.

Subject: [GWL] Jeff Ball Returns To Real World

	Hi guys,
I've missed the list, but I needed to step back into the shadows for
a few months. I have shifted my primary computer from a PC (after 20
years) to a Mac which I love, love, love. As some of you know, I
have prostate cancer which has been resting for a few years, but is
moving around a bit. I have no symptoms, just the need for various
therapies. I was down for awhile, but now with spring on its way and
Nancy agreeing to leave some coffee for me, the world is up (of
course that means watching no national news). Since dropping off the
list I've begun a blog at www.gardeneryardener.blogspot.com. I
started it primarily because when a garden writer puts out yet
another fantastic column for the newspaper; two days later it is
gone. So I load Nancy's and my weekly column in the Detroit News on
the blog, so now they don't disappear. Not being capable of staying
out of trouble, I've gotten us into podcasting. We did our first one
last week. I have still to get it all the way up to the point where
I can give you all an address; but soon.......

This weekend, Nancy and I will man a booth at the Michigan Home and
Garden Show. For many years, we have been speakers at the show, but
now we have a booth; it seemed like a good idea two months ago.

glad to be back

Jeff
