Podcasts (used to be Re: Jeff Ball Returns To Real World)

Podcasts are audio files (usually .mpg) sent in the same format as
syndication (rss) feeds. The term comes from broadcasts listened to on iPods.
Many of the same programs that let you read RSS feeds (such as Bloglines.com)
can also handle podcasts. Not too many garden writers are offering podcasts
(yet). These are the ones I know of:

Marion Owen at Acorns http://garden.blogware.com/blog

Garden-Helper.com http://www.garden-helper.com/podcasts/default.asp

Wiggly Wigglers (I don't make these names up)

North Country Public Radio

And, of course, Jeff Ball's when it's up and running.
