Kathy - good post about the podcasts that are already up and running.  

My tongue was firmly in my cheek about the podcasts and Jeff Ball but I
realized the darn video on my computer doesn't send anymore now that I've
moved to the country and dial-up so you couldn't likely tell. Trust that
"perennially cynic" John Friel to point it out though. 

(tongue out of cheek now) Jeff and I actually talked this afternoon about
podcasts and he only identified 2 that were operating. So you've helped out
quite a bit by identifying several others.  Thanks.

Podcasts are audio files (usually .mpg) sent in the same format as
syndication (rss) feeds. The term comes from broadcasts listened to on
iPods.
Many of the same programs that let you read RSS feeds (such as
Bloglines.com)
can also handle podcasts. Not too many garden writers are offering podcasts
(yet). These are the ones I know of:
