Region V press tour offer

Hi Doreen,
I got a call yesterday from Kathleen Webster of the Rockford, IL area CVB. 
She is interested in piggy-backing an all-expenses paid three-day press trip 
for garden writers onto our regional meeting in June. She'd like to showcase 
the gardens of Rockford with a visit to Anderson Japanese Garden, a 
wonderful private garden called Paloma and others in the area. I toured 
these a few years ago with a Master Gardener conference and wrote about 
them. Kathleen said Anderson has had some major additions since I visited 
and Paloma is now being opened to the public. If we're interested, she'd 
like to know if we prefer before or after the regional meeting. Sounds like 
and interesting proposition to me. What do you think? I'm also sending this 
to Denny and Shirley. I told Kathleen I would get back with her tomorrow 
(Thursday).
