Re: What's blooming in your garden?

Mostly covered with snow an ice up until the past week, snow drops of
various species are presenting an enthusiastic show this year. Several
witch-hazels are in bloom. The Chinese witch-hazel has been in bloom since
mid-December. Winter aconite reflect some of last years stored sunlight when
you walk by. Hybrid Hellebores are awakening late, but some nice yellow
blooms and a couple of clean whites are open now. Hellebore niger just
opened in three locations. A few brave crocus have opened. Saw a bee dancing
with the blooms late yesterday while out photographing. Hardy winter
blooming cyclamen is in full boom. Plump buds all over the gardens, just
waiting their turn in the wings....
