Re: What's Blooming in Your Garden
Sorry to say just a few things...
Arnold's Promise and Jelena Witch Hazel have been reliably blooming for about 2 weeks as have been snowdrops...just a few croci...no chionodoxa -- very late this year because of very cold spring -- no teaser days in the 60s or 70s this year unlike other springs of the past 3 years.
Hellebores are just beginning to push flowers from the frigid depths regardless of cultivar.
On the other hand, tropicals resting in the basement have begun to sprout green things at leaf nodes. They know spring is coming despite my doubting looks at the zone 5/6 landscape that goes under water every few days!
