Re: Good news on an old topic

Hi all,

I heard this at the San Francisco garden show from some of the other garden writers in attendance:

The younger generation is coming to vegetable gardening, through the back garden gate, so to speak.
They were raised by well-traveled "foodie" parents and now that they are raising their first
children, they will stop at nothing to make sure the food is safe and nutritious.  

I spoke this weekend at the Boise Flower Show.  I had lots of younger people come up and ask "how to
get started," questions.  

This will be fun......and good for everyone.
