Re: Good news on an old topic

Our first Farmers Market of the season today and I headed off to give
my first gardener's seasonal chat of the year to find that instead
of the usual 20 or so experienced gardeners who just wanted a few
answers to seasonal questions there were over a hundred - all
beginner aspirant veg growers, mostly young parents who had the kids
with them. Had to divide them into groups and grab help who could
take them for show and tell walks round the garden. Job one for
tomorrow is to lay on parent and child gardening classes over the
summer weekends - already fully subscribed.

Yes, the pendulum is swinging
