Re: stringer, Blogging and decent money

well put and apropos as well to Lois' concern re "texting," just one of a myriad examples of "verbing." It's quicker and easier to say/type than "sending a text message." See also messaging, gifting, conferencing: That last one actually takes longer than its root, To confer, but it saves our overtaxed memories (see Doug's earlier missive) from the ordeal of having to remember two entire words, one a verb, the other a noun. Duuuude, I'm all, like, isn't that, you know, redundant?

I think languages are living, evolving, breathing forms of communication, but preferably where readability and 
human connecting meet accuracy and precision without too much compromise. This, for me, is where blogging hits a snag. 
That helpful filtration and honing done by a sympathetic editor is notably missing.
