I'm going to put myself out there and show my ignorance but I don't  
understand all of what Lijit actually does.  I've looked at the widget  
on Doug's blog and I see that they provide a search feature so your  
content becomes searchable.  The layout of the search results page  
looks like a Google page, including ads in the right column.  Are  
these the ads that pay 50% to the blogger?

Where does the increased traffic come in?  Does the search feature  
search all linked blogs so someone searching your blog gets search  
results from mine as well?  I'm intrigued but would like to know more.
