A change in subject

You all sound so old lately! Were you whining about technology when the
8-track tape disappeared, or when the CD showed up?

To the group:

Rather than have this thread degenerate into a discussion of my
ever-degenerating physical plant, I would like to change the subject:

Spring is nearly upon us here on the East Coast. Especially in Region II.
I'm looking forward to--as always across my many, many years--to my annual
pilgrimage to the greater Washington DC area to smell the spring flowers.
This year, thanks to Kathy Jentz, Cheval Op and David Ellis, we are having a
regional meeting on the Potomac in May. Mount Vernon with 6:00 AM photo
shoot. Lunch and program with the original Green Man at Riverfarm. And
then back to Washington's home for a PM tour of the gardens.

What more could you want? The details are on the GWA web site. We have
numerous registrations already. Think about it.

The next regional meeting isn't until June--in Pittsburgh. At the Phipps'
new green conservatory...
