Hello, All Knowing Garden Writers:

I'm hoping you can share your wisdom and experience re the above. I'm about to run out of my soft bound book on self watering containers and need to decide if I want to go the POD route.  Here are a few things to keep in mind: 

First, this book is VERY seasonal. Despite the fact that's it's almost more useful for houseplants, sales definitely peak from early March through about early July in concert with the rise in container sales and of course my 1Q and 2Q speaking schedules;
Second, since this is a "how-to" book, I made it spiral-bound. Don't know if that impacts POD or not;
Third, the book has 33 photos. Is it a candidate for a eBook with all those photos?
Fourth, if I go the POD route, I'm more than tempted to make changes and essentially go with a "Second Edition" (another argument for an eBook) as I've made some (minor)design improvements since initial publication. I don't think that's a show stopper, but that would definitely impact the original manuscript/file, adding cost, time, etc. which may be in very short supply (especially the time part).

Any insight on this POD process, vendors, cost, turn around time, etc. would be most helpful as I assess my options.
