Re: Print on Demand Questions

C.L.,

Thanks, as always.

The seasonal comment referred to the popularity of the book since it deals with containers which most people think of as spring to fall outdoor garden elements, hence, the interest in self watering concepts. Sales drop off a cliff in mid summer, pick up slightly for holiday gift buying season, then stay quiet until late winter/early spring. Looks like a sine curve. Spiral binding has garnered very positive comments from buyers since it's a "workbook" and they need pages to stay flat while converting their containers using method I detail. As much as I'd like to change that (book stores refused to carry it because of that feature: doesn't stand up on the shelf - the true definition of spineless!), it seems to be a desirable element.

I'm hoping Betty Mackey has a chance to chime in here since I know she's got a wealth of experience and knowledge in this arena as well.
