Re: A tidbit from Hawaii

It might be argued that everything on the once-barren Hawaiian Islands, formed by volcanoes, is invasive (including us and our livestock). Some invasives are more of a problem or more recent than others.

I am wondering if you are seeing invasive plants on the islands and if so, can you gauge the impact?
In particular: wood rose, Merremia tuberosa, and beach naupaca, Scaevola sericea var. taccada.
