Re: OT - editing scholastic papers


Douglas,

Are you referring to a paper that a student is turning in for a grade?

If so, the ethics of the student and the editor are questionable as the 
grade will not reflect the educational goals and objectives of the course.

A paid tutor would impart the skills of proofing and editing the paper 
and be proper.The tutor would not actualloy do the editing. Tutoring 
rates depend on the educational background and expertise of the tutor 
and are far less than the hourly rate of part time instructors.
