Re: Hort societies

Here in San Diego, we are includers rather then excluders. We love it when we get members from Orange County, Los Angeles... heck, we even have a member who lives in Vancouver! The more the merrier is our attitude!

Nan

The Pennsylvania Horticultural Society is well known for its attitude
that anything more than 25 miles from Philadelphia isn't really
Pennsylvania and doesn't count. Do other horticultural societies think
like that? Is the New York hort centered on metropolitan NY and the Mass
Horticultural Society on Boston?

If you would rather not comment in public, feel free to email me
privately.
