RE: Hort societies...and their interests...

Aww, heck...we're a particularly "merry" bunch as well, here on this Island
Off The Coast Of America  (IOTCOA), and doubt that the N.Y. Hort Society
would turn down a dime from anywhere, given the general straits that they
face for funding.

I guess what I am wondering is just what the Pennn Hort Soc is being accused
of...is it about "garden tours" out of the city limits, is it about
determining "local flora", is it membership!!?? I have my doubts that you'll
find anything in a Mission Statement saying that...

do tell...I am "all ears"
