Re: new mosquito question
Hi,
Just what I want... A mosquito attracter in my backyard.
No doubt about it, mosquitos are attracted to dark colors, heat and CO2, but how
does that get rid of them? With your average homeowner's landscaping, mosquitos
come from all directions (multiple habitats), not just one.
I could do the same thing with an oil lamp, baking soda and an vinegar drip.
My question is... How does this mosquito magnet produce CO2? As far as I know,
burning propane generates carbon monoxide, not carbon dioxide. A mosquito would
not be attracted to carbon monoxide any more than the exhaust pipe of your car.
Is there an easier way to make carbon dioxide than with baking soda and vinegar?
This product makes no sense.
Regards,
Tom
