Re: article help - term
In Alaska the term "Cache" referees to the small "storage cabin" built on
stilts by trappers and folks who live in the bush to keep bears from getting
into their goods. We see these on lots of cabin lots and in advertisements
and in business names...so we have the 'Book Cache" and the "Coffee Cache"
etc.
A Cache Pot here refers to a pot put into the cache, obviously, to hold
things like sourdough, syrup etc....
I would track down some trapper vernacular....
