"No Mail" setting
Folks:
When mail to an address on this list bounces a certain number of times,
the software automatically sets the subscription to "No Mail" which means
the address is still in the membership list, but doesn't get any mail. So
people who change e-mail addresses without unsubscribing from the e-mail
list stay on the list, even if the address isn't valid.
I recently tested all "No Mail" addresses that I wasn't sure about and
found no less than nine that were no longer valid.
The point is that it would be much appreciated that, if you change
e-mail addresses, you would take time to unsubscribe from the old one. And
if you decide to switch to the "No Mail" setting, if you will add your name
under the e-mail address, that will be a clue to me that you chose that
setting and the address is still a valid one.
Thanks for the help.
