Refresher course

After two in two days, it's time for a reminder about attachments.  Mainly,
DO NOT SEND ATTACHMENTS TO THIS LIST.  Why?

1. All attachments are stripped before the letters are archived, so they are
lost if anyone wants to read the archives.
2.  Many list members don't want or have time to download large attachments.
3.  Many anti-spam programs will stop letters with attachments.
4.  We have a site  listed in the footers where photos may be sent for
posting.
5.  Some members resent attachments enough that they will leave the list if
a big one is sent.  We all lose when that happens, since there is a diverse
pool of talent here and losing any of it lessens all of us.
6.  If at ALL possible, list your OWN website where GWL members can go to
visit and learn more about you and your work at the same time as seeing the
item that you were going to send as an attachment.
