Region 6 PAR news

The Oregon Association of Nurseries has asked the Northwest Oregon Plant-a-Row for the Hungry committee to produce an edible display garden promoting PAR at the 2005 Yard, Garden and Patio Show in Portland.  The show runs February 18, 19, 20, 2005.  GWA's Nancy Junge and I have agreed to co-chair the project, and we need help.  We are building a steering committee now to get the project off the ground, and we will need plenty of help at all stages of the process.  If you can serve on this committee, please contact Elizabeth Petersen (g*@comcast.net) or Nancy Junge (n*@ccwebster.net) as soon as possible.  We hope that our GWA colleagues throughout the region will join us and lend their support for this important project.
