RE: Yardeners

they are buying and why"

If we can find a way??? We already have several ways! They call me every Saturday morning on the radio. They sit in
the audience when I speak to the Friends of the Library, The Rotary, or alumni meetings, where they ask questions and
take notes. They hire me to come to their yards as a consultant, and read what I write for the local paper and regional
magazines. They come to me at the garden center where I work part time. They ARE willing to read books that are
regionally focused, because they believe that such books speak to them and their concerns.

I am firmly convinced that many of us are speaking to home landscapers all the time, and THEY ARE LISTENING!
They are buying the plants and products we recommend. Even though they are not "gardeners", they are engaged with
their landscapes and they value our advice.
