The Plant Book
My daughter is moving, and at 40 bucks per hundred pounds, is clearing out
her heavier stuff. She gave me a massive tome titled "The Plant Book". from
Mynah Books (Mynah, as in the bird that mimics). but other than the -- oh,
whaddya call those things, the publisher's logo -- on the spine, there is
little information on who the publisher is. Strangely, there is no ISBN to
be found.There is no publisher's name or address inside. It does say "First
published as Brittanica 1997," and though I don't have Botanica, if my
rapidly failing memory serves me correctly, this looks a lot like it. It
also says copyright by Random House Australia 1997.
Anyone know the story behind this book?
