I lived in London a long time but have also experienced my share of hotel
accommodation there since moving away.

My personal favourite for Chelsea is a chain, Premier Inn www.premierinn.com
- the Kensington location if it's still available.

The price is about 90 GBP per room (no matter if there are 1 or 2 of you in
there). The reason I like it is because Hotels in London (and England in
general) can be very hit and miss in terms of space and standards, but this
is always clean, modern and spacious for London. The restaurant food is OK
too.

It's about a 10 minute taxi ride to the show ground.

If you'd rather experience an older traditional building then this isn't the
place for you. But if you simply want a comfortable stay I'd recommend it.

And an insider tip if you're going on press day - everybody goes to a pub
called The Rose and Crown afterwards.
