Yes, Duane, we had a hacker get into our listserv. We had to move the list
administrator address to another server. The hacker is or was sending spam
worldwide under the email address of the GWL List Administrator.
I've not received the email spam about various gardening topics to which you
refer. Have others?
There doesn't seem to be a good way remedy the problem, other than shutting
down the listserv, starting it on another server or under another name.
Given that we have over 380 members, this can be cumbersome. I'm open to
ideas.
