Bio-control for dandelions expected soon

Ontario is in the process of introducing legislation to eliminate the
cosmetic, or non-essential, use of pesticides on lawns and gardens. This
includes products used to control dandelions and other broad-leaved weeds.

I got to wondering what if any alternatives there might be for those of us
who don't want our country properties to turn into dandelion farms, and I
learned of a new bio-control, developed at McGill University, which is
supposed to hit the market next year or in 2010.
