Thank you all for the great advice on organic hydroponics.  I'm going to try 
catfish fertilizer and then Earth Juice.  My water is very alkaline, due to 
it being from a well drilled deep into a glacier of limestone.  I'm thinking 
that white vinegar will keep the pH down if I add a teaspoon or so to every 
quart of solution.
