I read the Extoxnet report, and it appears that Trifluralin is less toxic, 
less carcinogenic, less teratogenic, than compounds found naturally in most 
of the foods we eat eagerly. I have a very long list of things I'd have to 
give up before I started worrying about Preen, one of which I am sipping 
right now.
