Chemicals

Great discussion. It is a quandary. However,  I  do not think that we need to stop taking money as an organization from groups that are chemically oriented, but rather need to influence them. We want these folks to hear our message as much as our readers, IMHO. Remember when a certain company used to try and sell us chemicals? They  limited themselves  to  bird seed and feeder talks last year. They are getting the message...have no doubt!

We need to write about these issues carefully, but firmly. We need to speak out. That is why I wrote Teaming With Microbes, to give people the science behind organics. Get a copy if you don't know the science. Timber Press has em!

.P.S. In Pdx I gave out a sticker indicating you were organic oriented. Almost 500 were taken. Several vendors got the message.   I didn't do it last year,  but will in Dallas.
