Re: Vinegar weed killers


Sally I would NEVER ever use salt that way in the garden.  Salt in the soil is a big problem for plant roots and for soil microbes.  Household vinegar might work for your weeds but you are better off to use horticultural vinegar which is 10 or 20% acetic acid (household vinegar is btw 3 and 5 %) so it is a strong acid.  Forget the salt.
