11/14 I'll jump in with a "Me, too." I was there in Orlando and spoke with many of you. I missed the get-together because of plane reservations and an apparent change of get-together time.
Having spent a good deal of time in Seattle, I can say that the meeting next year should really be great. The weather in August is usually great...mild and sunny. The plant material, a treat. A great place to be aware of the importance of microclimates. The area also has a good recycling / composting program. I suggest for a little of the cultural history reading Snow Falling on Cedars. The book really has nothing to do with gardening per se, but is a great read. Georgene Bramlage

At our listserv meeting, we got to match email personas to faces. Those
attending were Jeff Lowenfels (AKA Crazy Cousin Jeff, according to Pat Stone
editor of Greenprints mag and the book Chicken Soup for Gardeners), Jeff
Ball, Ellen Zachos, Renee Vintzel Loridas, Bill Adams and wife Debby, Betty
Earl, Carol Wallace and me. If I forgot someone, please jump in here and
yell at me for poor memory due to many Scotch and Sodas
