Re: [GWL]: Tasini and beyond
Essentially the same issues you raise in regards to writers is being waged by
photographers through organizations such as the ASMP (which incidentally
helped fund the Tasini case). There is a new model of doing business being
promoted by and for photographers and illustrators to develop a co-op to give
us all a stronger voice.
Some say that co-op's are illegal and amount to efforts at price fixing.
However, I am sure you are aware of one extremely powerful and successful
co-op currently doing business. Namely the Associated Press. If you would

such as writers, photographers, illustrators and such join together just
think what a powerful force we would become!
